1958 Mercedes Benz 220S Ponton Cabriolet – Previous owner for over 30 Years - Very Rare Car - California Car, with Blue Plates.This is a very special 1958 Mercedes Benz Ponton Cabriolet, these 220S Cabriolets are very hard to come by. Especially when they are not all rusted out, this beauty is very very solid and has been in California probably all its life.This 220S Cabriolet has a decent driver quality paint job. The body on this car is solid and rust free. All the chrome and trim looks to be original and in good driver quality condition.Mechanically, this Mercedes really runs and drives well. It is an original and correct 180 engine and that is stamped on the head and the block and it has a manual transmission. Under the hood is nicely detailed and is all stock and correct. This '59 220S is a very rare find. These Cabriolets are only going up in Value and very hard to find! Especially as solid as this one is.
