1958 356 A Cabriolet.Car has rare factory hard top as delivered new. Equipped with period-correct engine and transmission that is mechanically fully sorted, making it a wonderful driver. This California-registered car has no evidence of accidents. It has a wonderful, straight body with very nice gaps. Hood has never been kinked.The car was disassembled, paint was stripped and the car was coated with PPG DP 90 flat-black etching primer. It was then reassembled and enjoyed with the intention of painting and reupholstering the car at a later date. This car is in very good driving condition as is, but also is a wonderful rust free example with concours potential. Look at the pictures, they speak for themselves. "A" Cabriolets are one of the rarest 356 open cars built - rarer than a T-5 Roadster or a Speedster.
